How do I get more Google reviews, and how do I reply to a negative one?

I only have 12 reviews and my competitor has hundreds. There is also an unfair negative review I do not know how to handle.

    Reviews come from asking at the right moment, not from campaigns. What works for clinics and shops:

    • A direct link to the review page (Google gives it to you in the Business Profile) sent on WhatsApp a few hours after the visit, in a short message with the patient's name.
    • A QR code at reception or on the invoice.
    • Never pay for or buy reviews; Google removes them and may penalise the profile, and in healthcare it is also a compliance matter.

    Replying to a negative review: reply within a day, calmly, without any medical detail about the patient (confidentiality stops you even confirming they visited), apologise for the experience and invite them to call the clinic's number. The person reading your reply is the next patient, not the reviewer.
