Answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) for businesses in Sharjah, Dubai and the UAE: pages written to win featured snippets, People Also Ask and Google AI Overviews, and an entity and citation programme that gets your brand named by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, in Arabic and English.
Search is splitting into three places. People still type into Google, but more and more of them read the answer at the top of the page and never scroll; and a growing share, especially under 35 and among the UAE's professionals, ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot instead of a search box. A business that only does classic SEO ranks on a page fewer people read. AEO and GEO are how we make sure your brand is the answer in all three places, in Arabic and in English.
The three terms, plainly. SEO (search engine optimisation) gets your pages ranked in Google's list of results and your profile into the map pack. AEO (answer engine optimisation) gets your content chosen as the answer itself: the featured snippet at the top, the People Also Ask boxes, and Google's AI Overviews, which summarise a handful of sources and link to them. GEO (generative engine optimisation) is about the AI assistants: when someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a dental clinic in Sharjah or a perfume brand that ships to Riyadh, the model answers from what it has read and from the live searches it runs, and cites a few sources. GEO is the work of being one of those sources, consistently. The three layers build on each other, which is why we sell them as one range: our SEO service is the foundation, AEO sits on top of it, GEO on top of both.
What AEO changes in how we write. Answer engines reward pages that answer a question directly, in the first lines, in the words people use, and only then explain. So every key page gets a short direct answer under its heading, FAQ blocks with real questions, tables and lists where a table is what the reader wants, and the FAQ, Article and Service schema that tells Google what each block is. We research the People Also Ask questions for your category in Arabic and English, group them by intent, and write one article or page per cluster rather than one thin page per keyword. The aim is simple: when Google builds an AI Overview for "how much does a dental implant cost in Sharjah", your page is one of the sources it summarises and links.
What GEO adds. Language models trust entities they can verify. We make your business a clear entity: the same name, address, services and founder across your site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, directories and the press; Organization and LocalBusiness schema carrying the same facts; an llms.txt file that tells assistants what you do and which pages matter; and pages written so an assistant can quote them (clear claims, numbers with sources, no filler). Then we work on the sources the assistants read: digital PR placements, mentions in the UAE directories and publications the models index, comparison and "best of" pages where your category is discussed, and two earned links a month in the Search Authority package. Being cited is a slow, compounding signal, much as links were ten years ago.
How we measure it. Rankings alone do not show AI visibility, so we track three things. First, a fixed set of prompts (30 in the audit, more in the packages), asked every month in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews in both languages: does the answer mention you, where, and who else is cited. Second, Google Search Console: impressions and clicks for the question-shaped queries, and which pages hold a snippet or a People Also Ask slot. Third, the referral visits and WhatsApp enquiries that name an assistant as their source, which already happens more often than most owners expect. The monthly report puts the three side by side with what we did and what moves next.
Why the UAE needs its own approach. People here ask the assistants in Arabic, in Gulf dialect and in English, often in the same week, and the models answer differently in each language. An Arabic prompt about a clinic in Al Nahda gets Arabic sources, so the Arabic version of your page has to exist and has to be the real thing, not a translation that reads like one. Entities are bilingual: your brand name written in Arabic and in Latin letters must be linked as one entity, or the assistants treat them as two businesses, one of which has no reviews. We test every prompt in both languages, write the Arabic content first where the Arabic demand is larger, and keep the two versions aligned with hreflang and matching schema.
What we do not promise. No agency can guarantee a citation in ChatGPT or a place in an AI Overview; the engines change weekly and the sources they pick vary by prompt. What we can promise is the work (pages built to be quoted, an entity the models can verify, mentions in the right places) and honest measurement every month. Most clients see their first citations within two to three months on long-tail prompts and steady growth from there, provided the SEO foundation is in place.
How to start. If you are not sure where you stand, the AI visibility audit tests 30 prompts in both languages and tells you who is being cited and why, with a 90-day plan; the technical SEO audit checks the foundation. The ongoing work is sold as the search packages: Local Search for one-location businesses, Search Growth for SEO + AEO with four articles a month, and Search Authority for the full SEO + AEO + GEO programme with the monthly AI-visibility report. Both the audits and the packages are paid online, in AED, with no VAT added.
What we need from you: access to Search Console, Analytics and the Google Business Profile, a list of the questions your customers ask on WhatsApp (the best prompt list we know), and a short monthly review of the new pages for accuracy. Everything we build, from the schema to the llms.txt file, lives on your site and stays yours.
