Introduction
Silk Road Pay is a service of Tareeq Al Hareer Digital Solution (the "platform") that lets businesses (the "merchant") accept online payments on pay pages under tareeqalhareer.net/pay. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and its affiliates ("Stripe") under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which the merchant accepts during verification.
Roles
The merchant is the seller and owns the relationship with the customer: it sets its prices, delivers its products or services, is responsible for their quality and legality, and handles refunds and disputes about them.
The platform provides the pay pages, the Stripe integration and the reporting dashboard. It is not a party to the sale and never holds the merchant's money: payments are credited to the merchant's Stripe account and Stripe pays them out to the merchant's bank account on its schedule.
Fees
The platform charges a platform fee of 1.5% of every successful payment (adjustable by written agreement with the merchant), collected automatically through Stripe. Stripe's published processing fees apply on top and are deducted from the merchant's Stripe balance. There is no subscription or setup fee.
Refunds and disputes
The merchant requests refunds (full or partial) from the platform, which issues them through Stripe with the platform fee refunded pro rata. Refunds, chargebacks and their fees are deducted from the merchant's balance. The merchant must disclose its refund and delivery policy to its customers.
For customers paying on /pay
When you pay on a merchant's page, the purchase contract is between you and that merchant. Your card details are entered in Stripe's form and never reach the merchant or the platform. The merchant uses your name, email and phone (if requested) to fulfil your order; the platform keeps them for 24 months for support and accounting, then deletes them. For questions about an order or a refund contact the merchant first; if that fails, write to admin@tareeqalhareer.net.
Prohibited uses
Silk Road Pay may not be used for activities that break UAE law or Stripe's restricted businesses list, or to sell goods or services the merchant has no right to sell. The platform may suspend a merchant immediately on suspicion of a breach, fraud or repeated disputes.
Termination
The merchant may stop using the service at any time by notifying the platform; obligations for earlier payments (refunds, disputes) remain. The platform may end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately in case of a breach.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates; the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction. They complement the general terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
